June Taylor is a craftsman of artisanal preserves. June’s marmalades, conserves, fruit butters, syrups and other products are produced in small batches in her kitchen on Berkeley’s 4th Street in California. As an avid student of traditional cooking methods, June Taylor’s creations are all cooked and produced in the same style cooks used a 100 years ago, harnessing the natural taste and wonders of seasonal fruits. Taylor gathers her ingredients from local California organic farmers and grows many of her own herbs and floral additions herself. She is careful to use only the best produce, refuses to add any commercial pectin and designs her preserves to the individual qualities of the fruit she is working with.
